The sheer volume of talent came out for the Aladdin auditions and Director Tony Cusack felt the pressure this year when it came to casting.

"If I could, I would cast everybody, but then we would have a 4hour show. We tried that didn't work"

Emma O'Driscoll is our very special guest star - Emma needs no introduction to Panto patrons and has appeared many times with the Society. Emma has worked as a presenter on Children's TV for RTE. Emma is currently involved in many varied Projects and has launched her new Limerick based Stage School Gem Stars. The Society is delighted to announce that Emma will play the female lead Alice in this year's much anticipated production.


A founding member of the Society, Tim has been there from the start. He didn't start off in wigs and bloomers, Oh no, this man could tell you the various characters he has played over 33 years.

Tim Cusack will play the traditional Panto Dame. This year's Dame is a wickedly brilliant Queen of Hearts. Tim will enthral both young and old with his zany sense of humour. “OFF WITH YOUR HEAD“




Natasha Coughlan is no stranger to Limerick Panto Society having made her debut back in 2003 as a seven-year-old dwarf in 'Snow White.' She has caught the Panto bug yet again this year as she returns to the Lime Tree stage playing the White Queen! Natasha’s love for performing arts has seen her take part in numerous musical productions back in her hometown of Ennis in County Clare.

She has also featured alongside her brother in TG4’s Feis & Blood and Britain’s Got Talent and has played support to Christina Perri in the Olympia Theatre, Dublin. Natasha cannot wait to be involved in what promises to be ‘the maddest show’ in Limerick Panto history!

From Clonmacken, Limerick; The Panto Society were delighted to work with Jason last ytear and now have a role suited for him to a "T".

Jason is well known in the musical societies around the Munster region and is currently preparing for "THE PRODUCERS" with The Cecilian Musical Society and The Wiz with the Shannon Musical Society.

Talented and not bad on the eyes; We are excited to see this "Laundry Boy" win the heart of his Princess.

Stuart Mackey - THE MAD HATTER

Stuart is native to the Clare region Residing in Galway persuing graphic design and videography,

No stranger to the stage, Stuart has performed with various groups throughout Limerick and has made his mark in Galway.

- Back again this year in the Iconic role of the Mad Hatter - Stuart says he is excited to make his own mark on the Bonkers chap. Alice in Wonderland is Stuarts fourth show in the span on 3 months….”Ever heard of a holiday Stu?”

“If i’m not on rehearsing, I’m usually on stage and vice versa - I love it and all the trials and tribulation that come with it.“

Damien Shaw - The White Rabbit

A pro when it comes to comic relief; Damien will be putting a twist on the Rabbit who is always late.


Damien is as dedicated off stage as he is on; as head of PR Damien works tirelessly to ensure The LPS are shown in the best light.

Danielle MCcARTHY - dOOR mOUSE

No Stranger to the stage Danielle is currently studying theatre and linguistics at the University of Limerick in conjunction with Mary Immaculate college. Set to make a bang on stage Danielle tells us about here first panto experience where she played the beautiful Princess Beauty in the Glor Panto in Ennis “Sleeping Beauty“ - “I’m a very energetic person and in that panto….well I slept for 2/3 of it. I can’t wait to bring some bounce to Miss Door Mouse“


Keith Mcguane - sTRAIN THE kNAVE OF hEARTS

Nothing needs to be said about this man that hasn't already been said. A true pillar to a show, Keith has played the Hero OR the Villain

Ready to take on his MOST EVIL role yet he will be have to watch what buttons he presses, especially around THE qUEEN OF hEARTS.

Jessica BOurke - The Cheshire Cat

Jessica is proud to be acting as the “Cheshire Cat” for her third show with Limerick Panto Society, following her role as “Hungry Dwarf” in Snow White (2016/17). Jessica is a past pupil (2004-2017) and current teaching assistant with Spotlight Stage School, Limerick. Although Jessica is currently studying Accounting and Finance it’s clear to the eye her passion is singing, dancing and acting. This year Jessica got to showcase her passion by performing on the 3 Arena Stage in Dublin with Cycle Against Suicide.

  • Aoife started in Expressive Arts Theatre School aged 15; performing in their annual showcases. She was a chorus member in the Cecilian musical societys’ production of ‘Oliver’ in 2015. She joined Limerick Panto Society aged 16 and is now a committee member. Aoife is currently studying a BA in Contemporary and Applied Theatre Studies in Mary Immaculate College, Limerick. Aoife has a great interest in theatre and loves every aspect of being on and off stage.

rOnan mitchel - Tweedle Dumb

  • Ronan is a self employed hairdresser and has always had a love for the stage. Having performed in several pantos Ronan can't wait to bust a move on stage.

  • Ronan is rehearsing for Shannon musical societies production of The Wiz where he will be playing the part of the Tin Man. Having played numerous roles in Limerick, he is really looking forward to this years production.

EOGHAN Mann - March HARE

· Eoin is delighted to be part of the cast, having last performed with the society in the 2014 production of Peter Pan. Eoin is no stranger to the stage having performed with cecilians, spotlight, centrestage "Nothing beats the banter you get in Panto"
