ONCE UPON A TIME IN LIMERICK….AGAIN

Fabulous, Funny, Festive Entertainment for all the Family in the Heart of Limerick City

This season’s offering will be the Society’s 37th production and the group is excited to be back at their new home in The Millenium Theatre, TUS. The Society would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff and management of TUS (Technological University of the Shannon) for providing a wonderful venue. The classic tale of Snow White will be this year's offering with all your favourite characters performing. The story will as usual contain many surprises and promises many a twist and turn along the way. However the important aspect of all the group's productions is that it prides itself on traditional family entertainment and of course the importance of interactions with the audience. The interactions with the audience are the very essence of a successful pantomime.

Group discounts are available - if you have a group (school/scouts/GAA club/company sports and social societies or any others) that your looking to organise as a day out - feel free to get in touch on limerickpantoboxoffice@gmail.com!

Chairperson, Grainne McCarthy and all the Panto Committee and Panto Family are really looking forward to this year’s production so please book early to avoid disappointment. Group Bookings are available too so if you have a group let us know and we can offer you the group rates!

The Society continues its policy of supporting local charities. The Society has raised thousands of euros over the years in support of local charities and is delighted to be associated with many children’s charities through the years.

Limerick Panto Society was founded in 1985 with the purpose of creating and keeping Panto tradition alive in Limerick.

“We came together to bring some magic to limericK; we never thought we would still be doing it 25 years on“ - Tony Cusack (Founding Member)

From Tales as Old as Time - to the Fairy Godmother of all Pantomimes, Here at the Limerick Panto Society we try to bring a little magic to the stage for people of Limerick and beyond.

The classic Fairy Tales; Add a Dame, Classic lines “Behind You“, Elaborate Costuming and a Soaring Score; You’ve a recipe for success.

37 years since the first production of Cinderella in January 1986...It was our beginning and maybe it should be our new beginning as we return to the stage… shhhhhh more on that soon!

The Limerick Panto Society has had the support of local Stage and Dance Schools all through the years. SPOTLIGHT STAGE SCHOOL under the direction of Judy O'Connor and Margaret Hough, EXPRESSIVE ARTS under the direction of Pearl Kiely and GEM STARS run by Emma O’Driscoll and Georgina O’Driscoll. it is wonderful to see ALL the talent being produced by all these hard working Stage Schools.

Tony Cusack who has vast experience in the Light Entertainment field will lead the production team for the societies upcoming season.

We are humbled to be made of some of Limericks most talented and devoted performers.
